Susan, LOVING this idea!! Can’t wait to see what comes up next week!
Interesting list of yeasty foods – if I get myself motivated to bake bread this weekend I might even use the magic word.
Thanks for your comment on my blog – I have posted about promite which is a close cousin of vegemite – so if you want some ideas about its history and how people use promite or vegemite in cooking have a look at http://gggiraffe.blogspot.com/2008/05/promoting-promite.html Given the title of your blog, you might find it interesting as vegemite is a yeast extract.
thanks for including me! i’m honored!
Kim, lots of great bread baking going on everywhere!
Susan, that BBD roundup is really spectacular, isn’t it?
Bee, so sweet of you to say that!
Laura, yes, I’m planning to do this weekly.
Tanna, glad you like the idea!
Chuck, you’re welcome– that was a wonderful tart you made.
Melissa, I hope you’ll send some of your beautiful breads!
Pete, very nice brioche!
All, please ping me as described above if you have a bread to include in the future.
What a wonderful collection of recipes! Thank you for referring us to them. Off to check them out:)
I’m just in the middle of making Croissants for breakfast tomorrow morning. They do take a while to put together, but my – it’s so worth the effort. I could post a picture of the last lot which |I made, but don’t know how to do that, but I’m sure you’d be impressed. The dough does freeze very well, and because there are only two of us in the house I cut the dough made with 500 grammes of flour in two and save half for another time.
You appear to be really professional in the way you write.
